Wedding at The American Church in Paris

Next week I'm photographing a wedding at The American Church of Paris so I stopped by yesterday to check it out, get familiar with the setting, see what kind of light was available, think up ideas for photographs, check with the pastor to see if flash photography was allowed in the church, etc.

When I was shown into the beautiful sanctuary of stained glass windows a bride and groom were having their pictures taken by a photographer and his assistant.

I quietly looked around and took a few photographs myself. I don't think I was a distraction to them. I'm looking forward to next week.

Creating Videos from our Photographs

For all of you who like to turn your photographs into slide shows presentations using the various slide show software applications, I’d like to present an application that very quickly and easily turns your photographs into MTV like presentations. This web based program will automatically generate a Video for you with various background layers and multiple transitions from image to image. If you don’t like the Video, just click a button and a new version will be created. The company http://www.animoto.com/located in New York City not only creates the Videos, but they allow you to upload your Videos to social networking sites like MySpace and FaceBook and you can share your Video on Video Sharing sites like http://www.youtube.com/and http://www.viddango.com/. I've posted two examples of Videos I have done. After several remixes I like these versions:
